16/7/2005 · Ok,Ive got a cat 3208 with a 10speed and was going to fixer up to pull bottom dumps,but it just keeps sucking more and more money out of the wallet.The mechanics keep telling me me that 3208 is not that good of a motor.This is a new truck to me so im looking for all the advise i can get

10/4/2017 · ford_doctor. I have a 1989 :ford: Ford L8000 dump truck with a 7.8l inline 6 diesel engine. That I bought just a couple weeks ago. It did run and was fine but today in the morning I tried to turn it on and it will turn on for 3 sec and turn off (tried it couple hours later and still the same), even if I try to give it gas it will always turn off.
